Citrus oils are among my favorite oils. They smell so good and they are very mood uplifting. Any of the citrus oils are great for diffusing. They clean and deodorize the air while also lifting the mood.

Caution: Citrus oils are photosensitizing, so avoid applying to skin that will be exposed to direct sunlight or UV light.

Lemon Oil has immune supporting properties. It is purifying and uplifting. I often use lemon oil to clean my hands when in public places.

Lemon Oil has been widely used in skin care to cleanse skin and reduce wrinkles and those occasional pimples we all get every now and then.

Orange Oil is known as a “happy” oil, nurturing feelings of joy and peace. Because of its ability to help support the body’s normal cellular repair processes, orange essential oil makes an uplifting, complexion-brightening addition to any skin-care regimen, while its uplifting, citrus scent can aid relaxation and help lift occasional feelings of crankiness.

Grapefruit Oil is a great complement to any weight management plan. A key ingredient in our new Slique blend, grapefruit has an uplifting scent shown to help create feelings of satiety, support metabolism, and cleanse the body.

Tangerine Oil contains esters and aldehydes that are sedating and calming.

Try tangerine and lavender together to relax before bed time and get a good night’s sleep. Rub them on your feet or take a few drops each in capsule.

Or … Add a couple drops tangerine and lavender to chamomile tea.

The citrus oils are amazing! They neutralize acid in your body and balance Ph and they are just awesome for supporting your healthy immune system.

Citrus oils are wonderful to use in cleaning. Make a spray bottle of water with 15-25 drops of lemon oil to clean in bathroom or on kitchen surfaces.

Did you know that citrus oils have very high levels of limonene? Limonene is one of the highest antioxidants, it protects our cells and is a wonderful support for healthy body systems. Of course, we are talking about authentic premium grade essential oils that have been processed correctly and aren’t adulterated.
